The response to Behance's third annual 99% Conference held earlier this year was absolutely overwhelming. Anticipation was huge with tickets selling out five months in advance and over 300 people on the waiting list. We expanded to two days at the gorgeous Times Center, adopted a new format, and assembled an incredible lineup of speakers - including luminaries from Pixar, Google Ideas, IDEO, FuseProject, and This American Life. Which is all to say: We're extremely excited about 2012. To help us streamline planning, we're launching ticket sales a bit earlier this year: Tickets for the 99% Conference 2012 will officially go on sale on July 19th, 2011 at 12pm EST. You can register here: http://99conference2012.eventbrite.com.
The official conference dates will be May 3-4, 2012 at the Times Center in New York City. For two days, creative leaders from across industries will come together to focus purely on the mechanics of idea execution, as our speakers share their hard-won lessons learned in a series of 20-minute talks and interactive master classes.
We have not yet announced the official schedule and speaker lineup, but we’re already hard at work planning a knockout program for 2012. The overall structure and schedule will be similar to the 2011 conference (view the 2011 schedule), though we’re planning to add some exciting new innovations in our quest to create an ever more awesome conference experience for you.
Due to the intimate size of the conference – just under 400 people – tickets will sell out very quickly. If you’re interested in attending the 99% Conference in 2012, we highly recommend purchasing early.
